Yarvi and Shopify's own AI reportsHow Yarvi works on your store, in plain words.

Shopify has its own AI reports, and they are worth using. Yarvi is built to sit next to them, not to replace them.

Shopify's Agentic section (Sales channels, then Agentic, in your Shopify admin) shows sales, orders, online store sessions and conversion for each AI channel you sell on, such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Google AI Mode and Gemini, Meta and Shop. It is on by default. Shopify's help page: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-sales-channels/agentic-storefronts/agentic-home

Shopify's Knowledge Base app, which counted the questions AI agents asked about your store, can no longer be installed. Its features are moving into the Agentic section, under Knowledge base. Shopify's help page: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/promoting-marketing/knowledge-base

What Shopify's reports don't show, and Yarvi does:

  • Which AI agents read your store and which pages they read, including reads that never turned into a visit or an order. The Agents, Crawlers and Product pages views in Yarvi show this.
  • The difference between agents you want reading your store and ones you may want to slow down or block, with what your store answered each one.
  • Why an order was linked to an AI agent visit, with the reason shown on the Attributions page (Growth and Pro).

One honest limit: Yarvi's pixel sees browsers. Agents that fetch your pages without a browser never run it, so Yarvi can miss some of those reads today. The article "What counts as an AI agent visit" explains what is counted.

The simplest way to compare is to keep both open for a week and look at the same days side by side.

Inside the Yarvi app, ask in Help. Yarvi's AI support assistant answers from these same articles and your store's own data, and hands anything about billing, your data or a person to Ned.
